The issue

You are receiving a Javascript error message after finishing the installation of the Agama wallet and running it. ( As showed below). This can happen because of a corruption in the files while being installed. Caution! Read the guide completely and follow each step if not you risk erasing your encrypted seed saved in the Agama folder.

Go to the directory %appdata%/Agama and erase the config.json file.

After entering the correct path erase the config.json file.

In Mac version, you will need to go to the finder and press Command+Shift+G and you will see the Agama folder as showed below. Enter this folder.

Next in the Agama folder erase the config.json file.

After you do this you need to restart Agama and it should solve the issue.

If that doesn't solve the issue, continue with the following procedure.

Caution! First verify that you have your seed written down or copied on a plain text file.  If you have your seed encrypted proceed to decrypting the seed inside the wallet to get possession of your seed.

After you confirm the seed is in your possession and that it shows the same address that you were using the pin proceed to the following steps:

  • Delete the Agama folder located in directory C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Agama. Only do this after verifying the step above.
  • Run Agama app uninstaller and wait for it to finish the process.
  • We are going to be extra sure that everything works by rebooting the computer.
  • Run the Agama App Installer as normal.

Your Agama wallet should be able run without any error now. Make sure to only follow this guide with the steps mentioned before.
