**Before realizing any changes, REMEMBER to always backup your wallet and privatekeys**


 

Part 1 - Download and Install the Komodo Swing Wallet

 

Step 1: Click here to go to the Download


Step 2: Run the downloaded Setup

 

 

Step 3: Click “Next”

 

Step 4: Let the setup run

 

Step 5: Click “Close” to finish the installation

 

 

Part 2 - Create a KMD wallet and receive KMD

 

Step 1: Open the Komodo Swing Wallet (“KomodoGUI”)

 

Step 2: You will be shown a warning. Click “OK” to continue

 

 

Step 3: To receive KMD, go to “Own addresses”

 

Step 4: Now, send KMD to the address displayed

 

If you want to create a New Transparent or Private address, you can click the buttons on the bottom

 

You can see which address is which as Z (private) addresses are longer

 

Part 3 -  Make a transaction

 

Step 1: Click “Send KMD”

 

 

Step 2: Enter the destination address

 

 

Step 3: Enter the amount of KMD you’re sending

 

 

Step 4: Click “Send”

 

 

Part 4 - Restore KMD private key & Iguana seed

 

If you have another Komodo wallet with Iguana, there’s no need to create a new one and transfer funds. You can use this guide to get your private keys from the Iguana wallet.

 

Once you have a private key, you can use it to restore your KMD address and its balance on the Komodo Swing GUI wallet

 

Step 1: In the wallet, over your mouse on the top menu “Wallets”

 

 

Step 2: Click “Import one private key”

 

 

 

Step 3: Enter your private key

 

 

Step 4: Click “Import”

 

 

The process may take some time. If completed successfully, you’ll see the following message (click ok to close)

 

Agama Seed import

 

Step 1: To import an Iguana seed, over your mouse on the top menu “Wallets”

 

 

Step 2: Click “Import Iguana passphrase”

 

 

Step 3: Enter your Iguana seed

 

 

Step 4: Click “Import”

 

 

The process may take some time. If completed successfully, you’ll see the following message (click ok to close)

 

 

 

Warning! Do not close the wallet while the seed is being imported. The process could take  while. Wait patiently.

 

 

Part 5 - Backup your wallet

 

Step 1: To Backup your wallet, over your mouse on the top menu “Wallets”

 

 

Step 2: Click “Backup”

 

 

Step 3: Read the warning and click “Ok” to close it

 

Step 3: Choose the place and the name where you want to store the backup and click “OK”

 

 

If the wallet is successfully backed up, you’ll see the following message:

 

 

Note: If you have any issues regarding  missing Zcash Proving Keys.
